According to this article, the number of season passes sold from last year went up by 14%. This matters to me because if people are buying season passes it means that people are making more money which means that our economy is getting better. This matters to the world because if our economy is good it means that we can be a more competitive country. This matters to education because if more kids have season passes there will be more absences because of ski trips.
